What started out as a standard skee ball game developed into a suite of pirate themed games centered around flying cannonballs.
This game was my first full blown Unity game and it was another family project with Katie, Connor and myself. When I visualized playing skee ball the image of a pirate-style wooden plank jumped to mind (for some odd reason). One thing led to another and we took the mechanic of firing an iron ball down a wooden plank with a ramp at the end and expanded the simple mechanic to fight off Royal Navy ships, plunder treasure galleys, and assualt seaside fortresses (not to mention the giant kraken at the end).
We're still working on ramping up the 'fun' aspects of the game and hopefully it will be ready for public play by the summer.
