Georgia On My Mind
Although I've spent most of my life in Texas, I was born in a relatively small town in Georgia. The Air Force moved us from Georgia, to Guam and ultimately to Texas, where Dad retired.
When I was growing up we spent most, if not all of our vacations back in Georgia to visit my grandparants. It seems in the past several years we haven't been able to make that trip for one reason or another. But after we had Katie, we decided the trip was well overdue and we had to take Katie to see her great grandma and grandpa.
So we packed up the car, and along with my mom, headed east.
